Should I call the police?

Flat mate (John) went mental at me for using a desk outside his room for work as he put it there. It’s the landlords furniture and I’m allowed to use communal areas, landlord said I could to do. He was angry because it’s outside his room and he wants privacy. So I stay in my room now. His girlfriend is over every weekend and not on occasion has they were allowed.

We weren’t allowed pets in our contracts but the landlord said johns girlfriend can have her dog over now and then if she’s visiting occasionally. The dog is big, it’s lovely but it he walks past you he can push you a bit or he’s always in my face. The dog did this when I was holding a knife a few weeks ago when I was cleaning. It got in my face when I left my bathroom and it runs all over the place. My other house mates are all away this weekend so its just me, John and his girlfriend.

John and his girlfriend have spread all of their stuff out all over the house. In both of the lounges down stairs. Now they could have used the lounge in the kitchen as it has a door so stop the dog running all over the house but nope. They left it wide open and decided to use the 2nd lounge that has no doors and it leads to everyone’s bedrooms.

I told my landlord because they are acting like it’s their house and I just want peace. I can’t even use any of the lounges. Landlord told them the dog isn’t welcome anymore. John and his girlfriend decided to throw the dogs toy right outside my room repeatedly, they were messing around to wind me up. So I told the landlord and they are now slamming the glass doors as loud as they can on purpose, that loud that they probably are damaging them (I even heard the glass move). They are jumping and down the stairs. Landlord has told them to stop it and said if they continue to call the police.

I've locked my door and I’m terrified. Should I call the police?
