Why do married men flirt and show signs of interest?

He’s married and my supervisor who is twice my age. But he flirts often, compliments my looks, stares at me and openly checks me out… I’ve caught him many times. He’s becoming more overt with his flirting as time goes by.

Is he hoping I’ll make the first move? Or is he just flirting for fun? Like what’s the point of doing this to me. I feel like he wants me to have a crush on him and he goes out of his way to flirt and gets jealous even if he makes it seem like a joke lol

Some people do, woman as well as men. There is a chance he just likes to flirt in general and sees nothing wrong with it. Other times he is willing to cheat and looking for an affair with you because in the end of the day he is selfish. I can't tell you which for sure but it's probably one of these two things I hope he is just the flirty kind. Which I still think is wrong and not fair to you because you obviously feel wrong about it yourself.

The reason he shows all of those signs, is because of a serious lack of sex/none existent sex life from his partner that he married and him not getting any affection from a women he married. Believe it or not, but men are not just souls money making only machines, we also have feels and we also want someone to care for us and spoil us and hug us.
