I noticed your time stamps. If it was me and i was going to ask questions about a person, i would do it in person. I only use texting for groceries, directions, quick planning when you know someones busy, and sharing links.
So if it was me, i would literally just say "hey you wanna [activity] with me on [day]?"
hiking is a great one cause you have him all to yourself for a while in the beauty of the wilderness
and its exercise which he's into, and you could show your interest in that by doing that

communicate what you want
and dont worry about how the other person feels if they dont feel the same
not everyone has to be in love with everyone who is in love with them

I got his number a while back me and him used to play soccer with each other and I got his number. He is also a year older than me but I've talked to him recently. Whenever I'm around he tries joining into the conversations, and he kept a photo of me. On snap he always sends me full face pics. But I'm too scared to ask him.
