Advice?👀Why is he requesting now 5m later when before that he accepted me but didn’t request back?

Like I did fancy him at work and we spoke briefly and then my friend got his instagram because I left work after and he did accept me but didn’t follow me back in January. At work he always looks at me a lot and smiles here and there and helps me with heavy items whenever he sees me.

Today I see a request from him I’m surprised he requested me remembered my instagram. But I don't know why he request and why he didn’t follow me back then I unfollowed him because I left for a day to see if he would but he didn’t now he’s requesting me and I’m confused what to do and why is he requesting me now.

the other guy he messaged me after he left the job in 2022 and he asked me to let him know when they’re hiring and I blanked him because he can’t even get there himself what’s the point. last October he asked for my snap and didn’t add me so left it at that then he messaged me about work and I blanked him now 7m later he messaged me again about work and I blanked him it’s been a week now
