We had sex and now he ignores me: should I move on?

I met this guy about 8 months ago; we were colleagues on a group project for a class we were taking together. He pursued me at first and asked me out a couple of times before we actually went on a date. The first date we had was weird because I felt I couldn’t really connect with him, although I find him cute.

He kept saying that he was shy on this instance, a thing he had used before as an excuse for not greeting me when I saw him around. After that, he asked me out again and we planned to go on a second date, which he cancelled a day prior to the event, saying he was busy with school (tf?). After that, I stopped initiating conversations with him, only replying to him the couple of times he texted me.

Long story short, he asked me out again after that, and I went; this time we had sex. I enjoyed the sex and all, would’ve done it again. The thing is, first time a saw him after it, he did something he had never done before in our relationship: he stopped the group he was with to give me a hug when I passed by.

After that, I interacted with him virtually, indicating that I would be down to another date. He kept interacting with me the way eventually became his staple: in a cold, distant way. Crazy to think how sweet and caring he was in the beginning.

Now he just runs (sometimes quite literally, I should add; I’ve witnessed it) whenever I see him around. Is he going to come around to his old pattern of reaching out when he wants something, or should I move on?
