so he knows that I like someone else now (because he overheard an conversation between me and my friend and I heard him talking about it with his friend) I see him staring at me more frequently, hanging out near me, but not talking to me? Sometimes he walks up a little close to me but then walks away like he’s gonna say something but he doesn’t. One time I was walking to math, and mind you we have the same math class and he knows I’m behind him prob. I never see him looking back but when I was walking behind him I saw him like looking back a lot at me I guess? It’s like he wants to be near me but can’t talk to me?

Sounds to me a lot like he wants to be around so he can hear what you are talking about. That makes the most sense to me as to why he is hanging around. Maybe he is trying to overhear more conversation about you talking about this other guy you like to get whatever info he can. That may be because he likes you and is a bit jealous. That could be one reason. Another reason is that he might be hoping you are going to start the conversation with him and figures if he is around constantly you will talk to him. Really... no one knows but him but those are two guesses as to why he might be doing it.
