We made out...and now he's acting weird...

So I made out with one of my guy friends a while ago. We had discussed it before, with full understanding that we just wanted to make out. After we made out we both agreed that nothing was going to be weird. Now he's acting weird. What's the deal here? And is there anything I can do to help things not be so odd?
