Put some black tea bags in warm water (not hot or you will die!), and then put them on the holes. Close you mouth lightly on the bags, and they will stop the light bleeding and help prevent infection. The tannins in the tea make blood vessels contract. I used tea bags for 3 days after and I healed really fast. Take ibuprofen to reduce swelling; Advil or Tylenol won't work for swelling. I've had 5 mouth surgeries because I had baby teeth that wouldn't fall out and then canine implants to replace permanent teeth that never grew. I also had my wisdom teeth removed and bone graft taken from my lower jaw and put into my implant area so they had something to adhere them to. Make sure to use the little pipette they gave you to keep the holes clean of food. Warm water feels better to clean them out than cold water does. The holes won't completely close for month, but they cover over within a few days. The cover can come out (dry socket) which really hurts so don't suck on straws or chew chips/gum. I ate a lot of soup and yogurt for the first week. Good luck, and don't worry! It won't be all that bad.

Had 3 taken out. I just remember falling asleep as they were putting in the anasthesia and later waking up to a bunch of gauze in my mouth. Mom had to practically carry me to the car, haha.
My pain wasn't too bad. Just one ice/heat pack. Had soup on the first day, mac and cheese on the second day. Pain was pretty much gone the third day.
I had fun taking the pain meds lol. Id just keep icing your face, your pain meds probably have Tylenol in them, maybe advil on top of that for inflammation. I don't think I had any problems or was in any pain, that's what the pain meds are for, I just basically played videos games for 3 days while my mouth healed and until I could eat normal foods again.
I almost died because they injected me with too much of the sedative to knock me out. If they gave me just a bit more I might of not woken up. Scary.

I got mine taken out with local anaesthetic. I started laughing a little because the sound of them breaking my tooth amused me. I think the dentist thought I was nuts.
I got mine out at 14. They came in very early lol.
For swelling, ALWAYS keep the ice on your face even when the meds ware off. I didn't swell at all.I had them removed in the AM and played golf in the PM. Not very fun and a bit uncomfortable but doing something got my mind off it.
My cousin gets hers pulled out and they grow back again.
Iced heavily the first day really cut down swelling. Recovered pretty fast.
WOW WELL DONE
I'm getting all four removed on Monday :Otake the anti inflamatry they give you other than that just bite down on the gauze mats it'll take about a 3 to 4 days for it to repair itself
I had to get mine taken out one at a time lol
