I do watch what I eat and limit myself pretty well, but there are times that I do wonder how I haven't gotten fat. lol
Is eating junk food like that really all that harmful or not?
Junk food is okay in moderation, its not the best for you, but if you eat well and exercise, you'll be fine. Also, people who generally ban everything, at least that I've met, tend to binge. Generally a good workout and diet plan includes one meal that, although not a binge, is not what is typically not in the diet plan. Also, generally your body will adjust and the cravings will decrease. If its a big deal for you, make sure you drink water with it, and look at switching to fruit to help fill the cravings.
I think treating yourself a little is perfectly acceptable. I'm carb-free right now, but I allow myself two cheat meals which can consist of whatever my tummy desires.
Basic cookies are just fine. I eat a few cookies with a few cut pieces of a banana or something else sweet on them everyday after a major meal. Why? Because eating something light and a little bit sweet helps the stomach process the main meal.
In the long term? Terrible. Short term? You'll likley just get spots, though it's surprising how much difference a couple of pounds makes to the abs :/
Spots?

Well it's not GOOD for you, if that's what you're asking, hence the "junk" food.
As long as the rest of your diet is pretty healthy it's not going to kill you though.
i eat a lot of junk food. but i also exercise a lot. more than an above average person. even work is physical. everything is burned. i have a furnace of a metabolism. on top i also eat very healthy.
As long as it's not those super sweet cookies or any other outrageous sweets.
you can at the end of the day if you are burning calories and maintaining a healthy diet, you can cheat on random days
No, it's not okay, fatty.
