Girls, why not use an acual diaper for your periods?

I know that of course you won't use any. But what is the reason, what would go wrong? Is it only because it is awkward? I think it could make things a lot easier when you have a long travel or you don't want to have problems with finding a toilet to check and change it. I really mean this question, please don't send joke answers.. To you it is obvious but I don't know what it is like :p

Diapers are all around. They wouldn't allow for easier removal for changing (you have to take your pants/leggings off). Also-because they include the leg area-stress on the material from moving could cause stuff to slide and travel more (so gross :P). They don't breath as well as sterile napkins (pads) because they are way thicker. In tern, the lack of breathing would develop chap more easily than pads or tampons would create. Plus diapers would make a woman feel like a 1 yr. old and would be degrading psychologically to MOST. I know there are those that have to wear diapers, unfortunately, but most people don't regard that adults may wear them too (they consider it a baby thing).

It just seems like it would be really uncomfortable and unnecessary. Pads and tampons deal with the area that needs protection from getting blood everywhere, but diapers would cover way too much and be noticeable under clothing. And of course, there's the issue of changing them. Swapping out a pad is quick and easy but a diaper would be more hassle. Also, there would also be the association with incontinence, so that would just be a bit too much for many women to deal with unless they actually had it. It's best to leave the diapers to those who need them more. Pads, tampons, and menstrual cups are all we need to deal with our periods.

Because we are not babies so I don't wanna wear a diaper. And it is really noticble so you could see I am waering a diaper even tho I wear leggings, shorts or jeans or whatever. I wouldn't want anyone to see lol. And sure you could use it longer than a pad but it is a no go according to me

Have you seen the clothes that they wear? Those super tight leggings where you can see their "camel toe"? Do you realize how embarrassing it would be for a woman if she was caught wearing a diaper of all things?

I know a hippie girl who didn't use either, she carried around this plastic cup thingy and just kept cleaning it out. She was so weird, but I was kind of interested in her. My gf was jealous they were supposedly friends but my gf would always sneer behind her back and say "I don't know why guys think Kendra's so perfect!" Noone thought she was "perfect" they were just curious about fing a girl with hairy legs. The teen girl from the Croods lol.

You can see a diaper through clothes? Plus I doubt its comfortable. Plus, why use a huge bulky diaper rather than something like a sixth of the size that gets the job done better, or a tampon?

You can see a diaper through clothes. There's not a trash can to throw a diaer away. You won't be able to see if your flow is heavy or not. I would wear one at night but not in the day time.

Because diapers are big and will make it very difficult for you to fit in your underwear or your parents. It's also very noticeable.

Its opinion that diapers shouldn't be used for your period, think about people who really need them so it's just better to use pads, tampons, and menstrual cup since they are made for this situation AND LEAVE THE DIAPERS TO THOSE WHO REALLY NEED THEM!!

Because pads are uncomfortable enough! We would still have to check and change it, because essentially a pad is like half or a fourth of a diaper. Tampons are the way to go
