Don't buy them for at home. Print out some pictures of the body you want to achieve and place them where they stop you from getting that sugary stuff. Tell your family/best friends that you're trying to reduce your sugar intake, it's something respectable, they should help you. Imagine everyday how you will feel when you achieved our goal. I guess you'll always like sugar, but you can get used to saying "no" to it. I convinced myself that I like fruits a lot more than sweets, so I got that going :).
Furthermore, the best motivation is the following. Make yourself clear that NOWHERE in life you'll get a guaranteed success&progress, an output directly dependent on the input, 100% probability of achieving your goal if you go hard enough, EXCEPT working out.
Lastly, respect that you're going for it. You'll get there ;) !

Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day, and if you feel a craving, drink a full glass of water. I find dehydration feels the same way as "craving". Also, learn about the bad effects of sugar on the body, that will destroy your psychological craving if you care about your health.
My biggest motivator is the feeling I get after going to the gym, when an awesome work out leaves me happy and proud of my body, as well as inspired to keep it in shape by eating healthy. In my mind, eating unhealthy would just make my entire work out pointless (even though exercise is, of course, never pointless!).
Drinking a ton of water every day also helps, making me feel full and less hungry for sweets. Also, keeping busy. It can be tempting to just eat a bunch of unhealthy snacks when I'm bored, so I try to limit the amount of lazy days I have.
I'd suggest finding healthy foods that you actually like! For example, I love snacking on pistachios, fruit, yogurt, raisins, etc., and feel so much better about myself after eating these kinds of things than I would a bag of chips.
Progress is what keeps me motivated, I love seeing changes in the way my body looks. I give myself a treat once a week so I don't really crave sugar or binge. I don't believe in diets. I believe in making lifestyle changes. If you crave sugar, try eating fruits. Finding a workout partner or taking a class helps to keep motivated as well

Don't diet because diets don't work. Checkout Freelee the banana girl on youtube. If you are craving sugar it means you are not getting enough glucose to your brain (fruits). Just please check her out on youtube. Dieting never lasts long term. It will just mess up your metabolism and lead to weight gain. A miserable cycle. Good luck!!
Cold turkey, after a few weeks, you won't crave it any longer.
