I'm not sure if it's specifically B vitamins but not having all the nutrients your body needs can affect it in many ways. And sorry I don't know about the syrup but it wouldn't hurt to get some daily multivitamins. Maybe the ones specifically for girls. It might help balance your system and make you feel better. Personally I'd say a tall glass of chocolate milk is the best antidepressant but being vegan, that's probably not an option

Use cronometer. com to keep track of your vitamin and mineral intake. I'm vegan too and this helps a lot. I don't want to be deficient in anything, so I'm always making sure I have enough of what I need. If you need more B vitamins, just add more leafy greens or beans to your diet.
