Guys, any guys played American football in school? Did you ever worry about brain trauma?

Did you play football in school? American not soccer lol. Did you ever worry about brain injuries? What positions did you play?

Played for eight years total. Defensive back, quarterback, and fullback. I broke my arm and tore up my knee but never worried about brain injuries. It wasn't really something that was talked about when I played.

I did indeed. I played Offensive Tackle and Defensive Tackle, that in D-I ball I played OT. I was never worried about head injuries. It was knees that got me.

I played Rb, Wr, and Db but no I never really thought or worried about long term brain injuries. As far as I can recall I only had 1 concussion and that was in little league go figure.

I never really worried, I've taken hard hits to the head doing lots of other things too. I played a bunch of positions- fullback, center or defensive end usually.

I didn't really worry about it. I played receiver, so I took a minimal amount of big hits.

I haven't but my cousin played offensive line/defensive line/some linebacker and he's had a concussion.
