So any advice or should i just deal with it?
How to learn how to eat less?
So any advice or should i just deal with it?
The trick isn't to eat less, it's to buy things that last and eat until your satisfied.
I advise making a grocery list that is based off of the things you plan to make that week; I'm a student too so budgeting is my bag. I will make recipes where I can get multiple uses out of a single item (like a pack of chicken breasts or whole wheat pasta) and plan my meals around that. I also meal prep and freeze a lot of stuff to have it on hand.
Other than that, learn what a single portion is for an item and eat the required portions instead of just eating until you're full. An example would be that I eat a chicken breast, half of a cup of brown rice and a cup of green beans for lunch. These are all things you can buy pretty cheap in bulk and make last by portioning them out.
I think switch to a low GI diet. Because those foods keep you full for a super long time :)
Eat a lot of whole grains, lentils, quinoa, falafel, Hommus, broccoli, as well as a lean meat to pack in that protein for lean muscle gain.
Also I suggest having oats for breakfast. And make them with soy milk. This is a great low GI breakfast high in protein that literally takes two minutes to make and honestly it's like a brick when you leave it out for ages hahaha it keep you full for hours ☺️☺️☺️
Hope that helped!!!
And instead of flavouring your meats with high calorie and high sugar sauces, use a spice mix instead :)
My favourite is paprika, roast garlic and thyme. (Pre packaged)
Also drink plenty of water and have a large mug of green tea before bed works wonders for your digestive system 👏
Sometimes, Ill go 1 to 3 days without eating in a week, But, With me its not because i can't afford it, its more that i can't really muster the enthusiam to eat.
Im not saying that you should do that though, because its probably bad for you, But, I dont really get hungry, so it dosent bother me, i just dont really see much point in eating.
But yeah, I don't know what to tell you personally, Just cut back on portion sizes?
You look really fit with a great body. And since you work out your body needs a certain amount of nutrition. You don't want to cut back on that. I know it's tough being a poor student, but you're just gonna have to keep eating healthy. You'll feel better and be able to concentrate on your studies better if you're not starving yourself.

Eat food with singular tastes such as one serving of pure lettuce with no flavour added, one serving of pure chicken with no sauce, one serving of pure red peppers with nothing else added etc... If you eat singular plain flavours and do not add oil you will not overeat.
Yo!! I read the title fast.. O_o
I guess you can just try and condition yourself with limited portions til you're used to it
smaller plates
it's basic brain trickery
and chew more
hmm... i'll try that!
When you're hungry drink water first cause it may be just thirst. Stock up on cheap groceries that you like.
Eat more with little portions instead of bigger one, and drink plenty of water.
