I'm really depressed and need advice?

I'm relaly depressed and i don't know the reason I haven't eaten in like a week straight just a meal a day tops and I leave some of it. I'm also to pridefull to ask for any help or go to a therapist I really dont know what else to do some advice would be great

I've been through the same thing. I've hit rock bottom with medication 3 times. i lied in bed for 2 weeks straight and barely ate. the doctors tried everything. i started cutting which relieved the mental pain for awhile but i realized i'm gonna have these scars forever. i truly truly truly recommend telling someone please. i was so close to suicide. i hope you get through this. stay string <3

well I usual watch a funny movie and get lost in it and I don't feel so bad.

Well I tried that but I tend to just drift awya in though and get really distracted

I do and it has helped I also coordinated an appointment with a therapist in my college

At. Least. In my college it is you shouldask but the wait is pretty long

That sounds like clinical depression. Not eating won't help for sure. Try to find something you can do to help shift your focus onto more positive things. Deep depression is really hard self fix and the worst of it is it doesn't need a root cause.

I do a lot fo healthy things work, school, gym and martial arts yet still its just blah

It may be purely chemical. If its been there since you were a teen then the only help is antidepressants. I've had good experience with Welbutrin but this is more a doctor thing.

religious? pray and ask Jesus to lift any burden :00 also ill say a prayer right now... and sometime we get depressed because of worry... what you focus on is what you'll worry about... just focus on positive... A regular internist doctor should hook you up with antidepressant meds no prob

Nice. So what happen exactly why you feel depressed do you have serious pro to feel like that? Or you suddndly felt like that? Without clear reason?

Thats the thing I have a great life beautifull girlfriend, a decent job and a car and I go to college on my way to making my life better but somehow I just feel really empty inside and depressed and it just finally got to me

Empty inside I dont really get it. Anyway you said you have a car and decent job and nice gf. I think you must thank god if you beilive in god your life look fine. Some guys are on wheel chair so you have nuce life and feeling and you feel empty what they will feel? Compared to them you're gifted. If its just normal feeling of empty compare yourself to a wheel chair guy and you will see how much you're gifted. If you feel too empty and it could ruin your daily life I think you need smart doc to help you.
