I'd really recommend getting a personal trainer. I'm 5'5 and started out at 155 lbs at the most and it's only been a month and I've dropped to 134 lbs and. my percentage in body fat went from 43% to 19%. it really works and the trainer can show you exercises to do that will help you. if you can't get a trainer then I'd recommend doing some cardio but not making it your main emphasis. if you sign up for a gym then go around and try some exercise machines like leg extensions and stuff that will strengthen your body. you can loose 100 calories by riding a gym bike for about 20-30 mins however, if you can build some muscle then you can automatically lose 500 calories per day, while doing absolutely nothing. weight exercises are good as well and there are many that can make your arms stronger while slimming your stomach but not slimming it to the point where you won't be thick.

15 mins set:
- 2 mins walk
- 3 mins slow joggin
- 1 min really fast + 1 min walk ( 5x)
even thought you work on the specific area where you want to lose fat, it won't work!! the body lose fat depending on genetic. so the only way is INTERVALS,

Start with low intensity cardio. That will burn fat and make your shape more straight
Do leg exercises to keep your legs toned.
