Yes … there's quite a few sources that describe them. You could probably do a Google search. A book that describes some benefits is "Brain Maker: The Power of Gut Microbes to Heal and Protect Your Brian - For Life". Not that I'm advertising the book, but it's a pretty good read and talks generally about healthy eating habits and what to do/not do. It's an interesting (though a bit factual) read. But anyway, my personal opinion would be that fasting is good, but in moderation. Anything in excess is (generallY) bad.

Of course. Body relaxes a little. Stomach works all the time otherwise lol Fasting is kinda detox which is modern way of saying it.

I've heard some people do intermittent fasting to lose weight/ detox. But not sure it is actually good for health :/
