I've had a sore throat for the past six days. It kind of has gotten worse but it's tolerable, and it's given me a hoarse voice and a cough. Anyways, I've had no fever and I feel fine otherwise, went to work yesterday after my days off and didn't feel tired or anything. I was inspecting my throat and it looks more red than usual, and my right tonsil appears to be swollen, the left seems slightly swollen but not as much as the other. And there are visible tonsil stones on each one which I've never seen on my tonsils otherwise.
I've never had this before and I would much rather not wait to see a doctor for 3+ hours just to be told it's nothing that needs medication. So, what does it sound like to you?
My cough is wet with phlegm, but that's cause I've had constant phlegm for months for whatever reason.
