What can I eat to sustain an early morning workout?

I really want to start working out in the mornings before work, but I'm worried that I won't have enough in my morning stomach to sustain a quality workout.

What can I eat in the AM that will sustain me and how long should I eat before I workout? I can't exactly eat something... then wait 30 min to digest it before getting going.
