Learning to forgive yourself for not achieving perfection is not easy for a perfectionist, but you have to try put things into perspective and divert the attention from being disappointed in oneself to looking at what you accomplished, seeing what you want to do different, and putting it into action. So basically, it's a combination of accepting and complimenting yourself and working hard for the next step.
