I cried and had a huge anxiety attack at school I also threw up?

Question

I told everyone I was sick but I was crying and freaking out and dry heaving. I'm so embarrassed. I thought I was just sick at the time and now I realized it was just an anxiety attack. Everyone either thinks I'm sick or a faker just so I could get out of cheering. What do you think of this situation?

my mom also told me when she walked in I looked fake but my friend thought I was really sick. I don't know what to do. I'm so ashamed. :(

I do understand how you would feel embarrassed because of this but you gotta understand that anxiety attacks are pretty normal, and you honestly can't do anything about what happened besides trying to forget. You know, the best thing that one can do with those embarrassing moments is really doing nothing about them and just trying to forget and ignore, because the more you try to fix the image of what happened, the more you are giving too much into it thus people will start noticing and remembering that more, and you don't want that. All you want is that people forget and you too, just give it a few days and both of you and your friends will forget that as if nothing has happened. They are probably just worried about you, just act normal you they can know that you are ok now. Others won't even giving it that much of attention, I mean c'mon they probably forget it in the same day considering how many other things happen in the school on a daily basis.

Stop worrying about it. You're thinking too much and that's causing you to go through that. Get away from the computer, open the window, feel the fresh air, even if it's cold, it'll help a lot. Put on some music, your headphones, and lay down. Take deep breaths and relax. Focus on the music.

I don't know why you had that anxiety attack at school, but if it ever happens again, just step outside, take deep breaths, and relax. The last thing you want is people around you, and even worse when they aren't helping. Stop thinking about those negative people, you don't have to care about them, and the less you do, the better.

Do what relaxes you the most, and what gets your mind out of the problems.

No Need to feel 'So ashamed' @Random_chick_2384 I Believe you have this 'Anxiety Attack' and if it Continues, you Need to seek professional help in Adjusting to these with Medication, which you could very well Need Indeed.
Only You Know your own body. I have a few members in my own family who have been on medicine for years for Anxiety and these attacks are so bad they feel at times they are Dying.
Keep an eye on these, sweetie, don't wait long. If these are making you sick to your stomach, it is a Sign that it just might be Time... To see someone for some help.

Well, if you're saying the truth then what they think shouldn't be a problem for you.

Go get medical help. I have a friend with the same problem and she says she talks through the phone with whoever who's available, that helps her while having anxiety attacks. She has talked to me sometimes and I can feel how she relaxes as we keep talking.

There's nothing wrong with that, plenty of people have anxiety attacks for a wide variety of reasons. Chances are your real friends are more likely to be worried about you and wondering if you're okay rather than thinking that you were faking it.

Try not to worry about it too much, though I know that's easier said than done. I'm sure plenty of people still felt really bad for you, no matter if they think you were sick or something else. Anxiety attacks definitely are a real thing and something to take seriously. Think about what triggered this attack and try to stay away from those things in the future.

When you learn to stop caring what people think, none of this will matter to you. You'll let it roll off of your shoulders.

Listen, we all go through embarrassing things in life, those who say they haven't will at some point.
You have to move on from this and not look back.
If anyone tries to talk about it just keep it short,
say "I'm better now" and move on.
There's no taking things back, and there's no point dwelling on what cannot be changed.

Okay calm down it's fine! The more you think and dwell over it, the more you'll overanalyse and worry what everyone else is thinking, thus creating more anxiety. Just try to forget about it for now, accept that it happened and move on. Everyone gets anxiety sometimes, even if its mild!

If your sick your sick there is no faking you need to make your mom understand that. Who cares about what others think its all about you and your family so keep your head up. Hey I will be gone for a while starting sat so If i dont respond to your future tags you will understand I was not around but I shall return one day again when i get a loaner computer since I am having PC problems at this time.

Go talk to your school counselor, they will be able to help you and you may not need to cheer anymore, also talk to your mom and let her know it's anxiety attacks and that your going to talk to the school counselor about it.

For one, I genuinely think you need to see someone about this. Like a welfare tutor, they'll be able to offer you better advice
