You might want to bulk up for than that for Basic. Reason being is you'll be eating less and running a lot more so until you leave Basic and move to AIT you won't have a constant source of protein readily available. You might not lose much weight while in BCT but at 120lbs you'll have a harder time with some events like team building exercises where you have to pair up and carry each other. Most of the guys there will probably weigh more. And when you have your 15K ruck march your ruck will weigh between 55 and 70 lbs on top of your battle rattle and weapon. Best thing would be getting all the protein in you can. about 1g-1.5g for every pound of body weight and keep working out.

hello, just by the name i have to ask, are you bipolar, if so have you looked into if they will accept you into the army with being bipolar.
best way to gain weight is to build muscle , it is not easy the only good thing is I'm guessing you have little fat to burn off so what gym work you do will go mainly to building muscle, best thing is to get advice from a trainer on what program would work best for you

#1. Want to gain weight? Go to McDonalds everyday. Eat a shit ton of junk food. Sit around all day.
#2. Gaining or losing 4 lbs is nothing short of normal weight fluctuation. A more realistic goal would be like something more than 5 lbs.
Drink two or more protein shakes at a time, like ensures.

Eat three big meals a day, take protein after each meal, workout in the morning and at night and make sure you're drinking plenty of water. I had to gain weight before joining the Marines and while I was in bootcamp. That's pretty much what I was doing to gain weight. I went from 92lbs to 120 in about two and a half months.
Eat more bread, protein, meats and try to get in some weights, heavy ones for yourself, this will add mass to your body where otherwise would be little fat and muscle. This works treats.

How many calories are you taking in per day? Most skinny men who say they struggle to gain weight despite eating a lot don't actually eat anywhere near enough, and I was once one of them.
Just eat more than you are. Not one or two meals... go for a week/month. Easy 10 pounds.
Or just drink up loads of water and water.Eat A LOT. Red meat, chicken, carbs, dairy. Lift weights- high weight, low rep. No cardio. You can put on a lot of weight while staying healthy doing that.
