Is it too late to get braces and are they worth it?

My family couldnt afford getting them for me when I was younger and still can't aha, but now I can afford them myself.

My teeth aren't even that bad, its just like 4 or 5 that are crooked/grew wrong and one literally grew above another tooth wtf ahaha

Braces cost like 5k and thats basically everything I have...

Find someone who works with a dentist... Perhaps a friend Ora. Relative or befriend a dentist assistant and they can help you get a discount!!

There are these new braces called "fast" braces... A little over 3k. They are supposed to be more expensive than regular braces, but you just said they are about 5... Anyway!! The fast braces take at the most 6months or so, as oppose to regular braces that take up to 2years or so...

In the end, whichever type you decide on, they are definitely with it!! And unless you have dentures, it's never too late. I say go for it!!! But try to find a reasonable price... 5k seems too over the top... Especially of you say they are not that bad.. GL!! 😁😁!!

I would say fuck it because your teeth don't sound bad at all. Crooked may give you characters or even look cute. when I was younger I looked like damn sponge bob!!! I could fit hard candy between my gap in my two front teeth and I begged my parents for braces (my brothers had gotten them so I assumed it would be no problem financially) and I was happy. But 1. I wouldn't have done it if it was troublesome for my parents savings - and
2. If it was a few crooked teeth I wouldn't bother unless it was a health risk somehow. I wouldn't do it if I were you.

Braces are totally worth it.
My teeth were never too bad but they're perfectly straight now, and just better aligned. It's never 'too late' to get braces.. one of the counselors at my highschool had them, and he was just under 50 years old.

Braces I had for a little over a year. Not sure how much the braces themselves cost since I had an expanded and stuff too, with a lot of my orthodontics being covered by insurance but I think they were a bit under $2000 or so.

I had mine when I was 20 for a year. I wouldn't blow your entire savings on it unless it's something you really feel insecure about. If you get a job with benefits in a few years they'll cover it. But yeah it's definitely not too late and worth it, I just would wait if the option to have them paid for is there.1

Unless your teeth are really fucked up or you have a bad bite then I dont think its worth spending all your money on them. You can get them at any age, they might even get cheaper if you wait longer.

You can always fix your teeth at any age. But if your teeth don't bother you physically and you don't mind the way they look, there's no need to get braces. My teeth grew in very straight, only one of them is obviously crooked. It's one of my lower teeth so it's barely even visible. I've never had braces and I don't think I ever will.

trust me Braces are worth it. i have braces and i advise you to have them now before you grow up even more , by example i'm gonna be having them for whole 3 years :( besides your face is YOUR FUTURE kindaaaa

It's never too late to get braces. I've seen people in their 30's with them because they had to wait that long to get the money.

I'd get braces, but you know if it doesn't bother you and it doesn't effect your health in a bad way don't get them. It honestly depends on you.

you should love your flaws, they make you you. but if straighter teeth will make you more confident then you should do it and you should want to, don't let anyone else convince you into getting them or fixing something on yourself!
