Rembrandt whitening trays and bleaching agent are the best over the counter stuff. The ingredients in the Rembrandt is the same as what they use in the kind you get in your dental office. The white strips are okay but they can be hard to keep on. The whitening toothpaste and things like baking soda don't do anything to actually change the color of your teeth they just help remove external stains from things like smoking or coffee. I have never heard of the cancer thing in your salivary glands and I read dental journals on a regular basis so I would not worry to much about that. Although if you do over bleach your teeth they can get chalky looking.

be careful with any system, don't use them too much. My friends sister got cancer in her salivary glands and the first thing the doctor asked is if she uses crest white strips or something similar (she used them very frequently) because they've been finding a link between frequent use of white strips and cancer. Not trying to scare you! If you only use it a few times a year you'll be fine, she used them every 2 weeks or so
This is the one that I use.

My dentist said that it was OK.
I never heard of or my dentist never mentioned anything about cancer in her salivary glands.
That doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.
Ask your dentist.

I love Aquafresh White Trays! They are so easy to use, and the results are great! Plus, they don't get all twisted like the strips.
I really like the crest whitestrips!
Or the plus white gel. :)baking soda and hydrogen peroxide
