Well you could do the standard of throwing yourself into a hobby or interest. Tell yourself your being happy for you and if the right one comes your way its for maybe better reasons.(like shared interests and genuine interest in each other)
As for touch depending on your views there are swingers clubs. I knew people in them though I'm not one of them. But sometimes it can make things worse. Because you get the physical but not the emotional feelings you want. You could instead join a social club or try a meetup group to go out and do something together. Sometimes cities have hug in's or pillow fights. The silliness or innocence of each can help make a person feel better.
I've been around abused people who were recovering from a very bad relationship. Sometimes the ship you need to be on is one that focuses on your interests and reclaiming them and hobbies. Though yes sometimes some are a reminder of the person you're not with if your relationship was good but had problems ending as friends. I've been there. I just tried to focus on other things and spend time with friends.

I'd say I was in a similar situation and then I met a girl, I didn't rely on her though, it taught me to go out of my shell and love who I am for me. Sure she made me a lot happier than I had been in a long time, and it hurt to have her take that away from me but, it is what it is. Life moves on. Try meditating and working out, that helps a lot, makes me feel better about myself and gives me confidence, I don't really have negative thoughts about myself anymore. Nothing is wrong with depending on people though, it's perfectly natural and even good, as long as you depend on the right people.
