Do women like a strong, fit man?

lol yes I know how stupid the question sounds, but some women (i've been talking to say otherwise...so it kinda left me a bit confused).

For an example, some women say "oh yeah of course, I need a strong man to hold to"...then yet the other women might say "no not really I need some fat on my man...something nice to cuddle up to"...i hope you see where I'm going with this.

Anyways if you do enjoy a strong fit man...whats the reason? why do you?

Personally, I'd rather date a strong, fit man rather than an overweight one. I'd want a man that could run a mile without falling over, but then again, I don't want a guy who is too buff either. Lol. Most girls want a guy who can protect them, and that buys into the fit one obviously.

But overall, a girl should not like a guy just for his body type. Rather, they should like him for his personality. Hope I explained well!

Hell to the yeah. If it ain't ripped, it ain't right. Presumably for the same reason guys like girls to have low hip-to-waist ratios, long legs, large breasts and such - it denotes a healthy potential mate, thus more likely to produce healthy offspring and propagate the species.
