How do you quit a drug addiction?

I'm addicted to drugs I won't say which ones or my age but I'm an addict and it's ruining me and every relationship I have.
Please does anyone know what to do to get rid of them?
My parents don't know yet and I'd like to keep it that way so if there's a way that won't involve them that would be preferable.

You might need some external help, someone you trust. hopefully an adult. or you could try doing it alone but take it from me, that just digs you deeper. I don't do drugs but mine is still an addiction.

Normally, you are not capable to do it just by yourself. I did it, but I don't wish you the same circumstances like I had. So, support group can be right option for you.

You gonna need strong will. I mean FUCKING STRONG WILL. It can be toughest fight you ever fought. But you know what? It's worthy. Then you can be proud of yourself. Because if you will win this kind of fight, it makes you strong and unique. It will boost your self confidence, because only unique people are able to do it. First hard step is done. You confessed that you are drug addict. I wish you good luck. I mean really, good luck. ☺

First of all, it's a good idea to tell your parents but if you won't do that then find a support group or something
