How Do You Lose Weight?

I'm 16 and would like to lose 10-15 pounds.I understand working out,but I am completely confused about the whole amount of calories to consume and calories to burn.

Normally,I eat around 1500 calories or less.I don't eat breakfast because it upsets my stomach,and I hate eggs:(((Yuck.I eat lunch,never anything heavy and dinner and with a snack or two in between.I will admit,I have this thing for a late night snack(sorry).

I am trying to create a workout plan,I get bored very easily,so I like to switch it up,and I can't join a gym:(((I'm underage.I just joined Sparkpeople(yes lied about my age) and havem't done anything yet.

-So help,explain the calorie issue.If I eat around 1500 calories a day,how many would I have to burn to start losing weight?

-I'm in no rush,1-2 lbs a week is good?

-How can I lose water weight fast?(I usually retain a lot of water)

5'3 1/2

Around 135 lbs
