I have acne as an adult?

OK so I am 27 years old and barely started breaking out. I tried different washes and washing sheets a grip and using different creams and lotions and nada is working. Has anyone tried Birth Control pills and if so what kind did you take and did it clear up your acne? Did you gain weight or lose weight? please I need help

well, do you have really oily skin? Or dry? If it is really oily, try something to dry it up. Too much oil clogs pores, and If it is dry... Use Moisturizer that will keep your skin fresh and healthy, My skin is dry, and believe it or not, Dry skin is also prone to breakout. How many times a day do you wash your face? Are they pimples or, pus filled under the skin, black heads or whiteheads? If you get the big zits that are under the skin and are hard to pop, consider going to the doctor. and Have you been to the skin doctor? Its pretty easy to make an appointment and Go, they can script you up some pills that would work better than taking birth control., also they can give you some very potent creme to put on it. Works like a charm. While you take your perscription, you can get on a good skin care routine... sometimes those products don't work because we try them for a few days and expect them to work overnight. Try washing your face day and night, and use a Astringent after to make sure you got all your makeup off, follow up with a good moisturizer. Another thing you can consider is the makeup you are using... could be you are using products that clog pores and have ingredients in them such as talc and things that aren't so good for the skin. I like bare minerals... its nice and light and won't clog your pores! of course its healthy, but you still need to wash after you wear... :) hope that helps.
