My boyfriend wants me to lose weight.

When we first began dating, I was 118 lbs. I'm 5' 2" I gained 20 lbs so now I'm 138 and he jokes around calling me miss piggy. When I tell him to stop it, he says that I should go on a diet because he doesn't want me to get any bigger. He even said I was obese for my BMI. I don't like being skinny. That's why I gained weight so my body could look more curvier.

138 at your height is very reasonable. Tell him to stop criticizing your weight because it is hurtful. If he keeps hounding you to lose weight and calling you obese you might want to dump him and find a man who loves and adores you for who you are.

Also if I might suggest in the future to not disclose your weight or weight gain info to a boyfriend if he has a tendency towards criticizing you or feels he has a right to control you in any way.

Well at least he is honest, perhaps a bit harsh but it's honesty girls want right? Plus he is looking out for your health and if you get in a habit of working out/running you guys can share an activity as well as feel better about both yourselves.

In the nicest way possible you are over weight my dear I have the same BMI as you are supposed to have you should be anywhere from 113-125

Unless she's got a job as a runway mode, there is nothing wrong with the OP weighing 138. She says herself she likes her curves at this weight and that she doesn't like being skinny.
