It starts with men. How do we address these issues when men do not want to seek help, mock each other for having mental issues, or don't want to address their issues as a group?
And if you think that most men commit suicide because of domestic violence, you are simply another troll here whining about women's rights.
Men's mental issues come from drug abuse, social isolation (something a lot of you guys have in spades), divorce (I had this issue), physical or sexual abuse from childhood, being bullied, etc.
It's complicated, but briefly, it involves men not being as open with therapists as women are, and since most therapists are women, the therapists may not be entirely comfortable treating men.
@msc545 kinda don't need a therapist. I know what's wrong and I can't be bothered talking about it anymore. I'm almost 30. No one cared before and I stopped caring too.
Also, you hate that men are raised to ignore our mental well being. I can see your point but unfortunately it's kinda necessary to raise men like that, because if we don't, who's gonna do all the dangerous, dirty jobs? Drilling oil is not fun.
Nope society doesn't. Its time for men to dilute the narrative of living and sacrificing for the tribe or society and start taking care of themselves. Seek therapy, no shame.
Toxic masculinity doesn't exist. And no people don't feel sorry for men and aren't supposed to.
We are men, not women or children. We are suppose to be rugged and tough to lead in our homes and society, not little sissy boys having people pity us.
Its exactly why we have so many men especially in their early 20's now acting like such sissy little childish boys looking for society to feel sorry for them when things get tough.
I agree that humans are weaker than what we were in past but things change when you don't have similar conditions what it was like in past, it's a part of evolution, you get sensitive : )
Most people only care for themselves , also men are viewed far less positively , certainly in Western 1st World countries , than women are. As a man , in the vast majority of cases , you are on your own in life. In summary , mostly no.
People can say yes but do they react faster than they should is the question. Assuming men can take care of it by himself is subconscious and hardwired in our society and that's the trade of being the "stronger" sex biologically.
No body cares about men unless there attractive I can say this first hand I was average looking but as soon as I got good looking enough to model everyone started caring about me more. This world is fucked up tbh
No, we're told to do this, take this, go to this, but if it's truly bad and a long-term thing then nothing can help and we either have to deal with it or give up entirely sadly

Men's issues in general are not taken as seriously as women's, and mental health issues are no different.

Do you even know what a "troll" means? LMAO
Well, you apparently do.
We all should. Men are less likely to seek to professional help, meaning there are likely many more men walking around undiagnosed and untreated.
Men also don't benefit as much from therapy even when they do go. Unfortunate.
Why don’t they?
It's complicated, but briefly, it involves men not being as open with therapists as women are, and since most therapists are women, the therapists may not be entirely comfortable treating men.
I hate that so many men are being raised the way they are.
I do too. They grow up to be disabled in many ways.
I went to therapy. It didn't work because I got asked a few questions , given a prescription and that was it. 15 minutes.
Kinda got the feeling she didn't want to actually help me , just gave me pills and that was it
That wasn’t therapy. That was a diagnostic psychiatrist.
Already had a diagnosis at that time
Psychiatrists pass out medication. They don't provide Psychotherapy which is what you need.

@grega239 ok, fair enough. Be aware that at some point whatever is troubling you may turn around and bite you.
@msc545 maybe. But as I said, who cares

Should i consider this as a sarcastic comment cuz "cool guy" in your name makes me feel like u r being sarcastic I don't know.
Its the truth. Look at men of the past and see how strong and leaders they were. Not this cry baby crap we have today.
I agree that humans are weaker than what we were in past but things change when you don't have similar conditions what it was like in past, it's a part of evolution, you get sensitive : )
no. they are too busy making men the vilain that's responsible for everything bad in the world xD
LMAO we bad, monke good

Working in hospitals for almost 20 years... no, it’s not a priority which is sad as it should be taken very seriously for both men and women
People can say yes but do they react faster than they should is the question. Assuming men can take care of it by himself is subconscious and hardwired in our society and that's the trade of being the "stronger" sex biologically.
Yes. We do, ourselves. We solve our own problems. That's something I admire.
Mental health is important to everyone. Male, female, trans or whatever.
Omg yes, more than it's realized!! This needs to be a more comfortable topic that is discussed way more often than it has been!
No body cares about men unless there attractive I can say this first hand I was average looking but as soon as I got good looking enough to model everyone started caring about me more. This world is fucked up tbh
The suicide stats alone say it all how much people care about men's mental health.
We're doomed.
In terms of this gender stereotype bullshit, I think Slends would take the place of humans much better.

Toxic masculinity is a social construct.
It's not a real thing.
You better we as a society need to find ways to help thrm. Right mow they are kicked out on the streets
Nope. Society turned in endless virtue signaling shit show. In reality no one cares for anyone.
No, they dont
Neither I not my friend Matt nor my imaginary friend Bob have ever witnessed concern for a man's mental health
I know that you can't see him but Bob just threw his Feces at Matt.
