Check on her in 6 months and see if there is any progress. In the meantime, do something useful and ignore her.
No they’re happy and you’re making a change in your life so that’s good. The trouble is they find out how hard it is and most of them quit not too long after They realize how difficult and demanding it is going to the gym every day or every other day consistently
No. Sounds like you’re bitter. It’s good she’s trying to do something good for herself. If anything you should encourage her.

No actually, I quite enjoy it when someone tells me how much weight they have lost, or what they bench-pressed the other day. What has me beat though is those who do so usually are the ones driving you mad to go out to eat with them all the time.
She is just excited about it. Most people buy gym memberships and drop out after a few weeks so it won't last long anyway.
She's probably just excited and super motivated about her new lifestyle change.
