I love chicken and steak. Don’t care for pork products. I’m fine with people who are vegetarians, I’m not knocking them either. I think it’s find (ethical).
Yes. We have K-9 teeth which are designed for tearing meat. All omnivores and carnivores have them. To not eat meat is to go against your evolutionary design.
for me yes but everyone has their own ethical view on this topic. i'll only eat chicken fish and cow (hamburgers steaks) and once in a while pigs (bacon pepperoni and barely hot dogs). i won't eat lamb deer bison ox sheep (ethical reasons)
The question around ethics of eating meat mostly happens in first world countries where people have options. In many countries people would starve to death without meat because they don't have other sources of food.
They way to tell of an animal is a preditore or herbivore is its eyes. A preditore has eyes on the front of it head a on ly sees in one direction, a herbivore has eyes on the side of its head an can look in any direction. Man is a peditore
I have no problem with eating meat, but my grandparents were also farmers, so I'm familiar with the process of raising animals to putting them on the table, and it was never villainized.
From a Christian teaching it is up to the individual. One can chooses to or not to , but if it makes another fall into sin then don't . Don't be slanderous towards each other about it. in my opinion
In Rom. 14, it talks about how some Christians were concerned about eating meat to idols and sacrificed wondered if that was wrong. It got on their conscience and they believed that it was wrong. They didn't eat meat because in those days, sacrificed meat was first sacrificed and then sold in the market. They couldn't tell if it was normal or sacrificed. So they just didn't eat meat. In Romans, God says that it is totally fine to eat meat, sacrificed or otherwise, but if your brother or sister in Christ's faith is weaken by you eating meat that could have been sacrificed, than don't eat it with them. Now-a-days, we do not have sacrificed meat popping up in the markets. God gave Noah permission to eat animals after he exited the ark in Genesis, so since God gave him permission, I do not have any qualms eating meat. In fact, I work in the meat processioning industry. However, if others do, that's great. Be vegan or whatever you want. If it hurts your conscious, than don't do it. It won't bother me! :) At my job, we treat all the animals very humanly and don't allow them to suffer at all.
Sorry, I forgot to add a summary! Yes, it is perfectly ethically to eat meat from a Christian perspective. It is not ethical to treat animals bad, but in my experience in the Agri-world [which I have had a tone of experience in], animals are treated badly very, very rarely.
Yes I think its ethical. As far as health wise I think its pretty good if you eat meat with no hormones or antibiotics and eat a moderate amount. That's my problem. I overeat meat as well as other food so I'm stuck being chubby. 🤣
Omnivores eat both meat and plants. Not "Or." Besides, if it wasn't for eating meat, the Human race would still be in the Australopithecus stage of life.
There is nothing unethical about eating meat. This is just a prime example of the softening of society. Eat a damn steak. There’s nothing wrong with it.
No it's not. These days with countless of options available, we absolutely do not need meat to survive. Who are we to enslave another living being, kill it, then put it in our mouth?

Yes, that is why the good lord made them so tasty.
Isn't that what PETA stands for, people eating tasty animals?
Yes. It’s just the food chain. 🤷🏻♀️ The circle of life if you will.

I think it’s fine*

I think so it’s nourishment. I dislike people who tell me I’m evil cause I eat meat.

You mean predator?
Never said i could spell
What about monkeys? They're not predators.
Monkeys are omnivores,
Which just means they can eat just about anything, but predators (like lions) only eat meat.
I think it is. We eat the animals that eat the vegetarians food
Probably not but its even more unethical for the meat industry using factory farms and low wage workers to produce them
@Still-alive Agreed.
I have no problem with eating meat, but my grandparents were also farmers, so I'm familiar with the process of raising animals to putting them on the table, and it was never villainized.
“Animals do it, so it’s okay”
#shitforbrains worst possible justification for any behaviour. Animals also rape eachother so why not justify that as well?
It's inethical not to. The Creator designed us as carnivores. You ain't gonna survive on spinach.
Let us know when you figure it out.
In the meantime, I'll keep eating meat.

Plants can grow better if you talk to them & respond in other ways, so even vegans are killers.

Sorry what? I have harvested many an animal… what is your point?
What’s your point? You ask this question without even taking a stance on it
I don't have a point, it's a controversial question.. if you haven't noticed those do well in this platform.
Ok. And my point was there’s nothing wrong with it. What’s all confusion about?
No it's not. These days with countless of options available, we absolutely do not need meat to survive. Who are we to enslave another living being, kill it, then put it in our mouth?
What about those who haven’t their own meat
