Note: She's 5'11, her husband is 6'4 and most of the family members (both genders) are very tall.
Is that tall for a girl that age?
A normal 11 year old girl is supposed to be 5'0" and stop growing at age 15 at around 5'5" or 5'6". A normal 11 year old boy would be around the same height but would keep growing until age 18 and stop at around 5'10" or 5'11". This girl is five inches taller than normal.
You could call that "tall" for her age, but honestly, she should be at 5'7" by that age given her parents' heights. The formula is "half your parents age" and +2 inches for a boy and -2 inches for a girl. Half her parents age would be 6'1.5" and -2 would be 5'11.5", which should be her final adult height. Since girls stop growing at 15 and don't get growth spurts like some boys do, she should be growing by an inch a year. Which means, to be "on time" to reach her target height, she should be around 5'7" or 5'7.5" by age 11. Although 5'6" would be fine as well, as she'd be 5'7" by 12, 5'8" by 13, 5'9" or 5'10" by 14, and 5'11.5" by the time she finishes growing midway through age 15.
So yes, it's "taller than average" for an 11 year old girl, but given how her parents both have powerful genes, this girl should be 5'7.5" by the time she turns 12, and stop growing at half an inch below six feet by the time she's close to 16.
She's not going to get all that much taller. I would think 5-8 at the most. She may be taller than the boys her age. They will catch up.
I guess but how did my friend grew to 5'11. I saw a picture of her when she was a kid. She looked nothing like now. She was a thin, much shorter version. My friend claimed she was similar to her height when she was that age. She and several female members (all tall too) were late on their periods; ages 15-16 years old.
Not sure how true Is this: the later a girl gets her period, the more she grows?
5'4 or 5'5
I’d say your incorrect i was 5’5 at 11 years old 5’8 at 12. i’m currently 5’11. most likely she will be 5’11 or 5’10.

If she hasn't started her period yet, she got a lot more to go, she isn't even classified as a late bloomer for puberty and both parents are tall the girl needs time to bloom or go into puberty
No. She will be tall though with both parents being tall. Probably will grow to 5' 10 or 5'11
Yeah that makes sense. Though she already has the height of the average adult female.
hi there! i used too be 5’5 at 11yr old and 5’8 at 12. my moms 5’7 and my dads 6’3 i got my dads genetics although as my aunt was about 5’5 my age also! she’s now 5’11 and i’m also 5’11 most likely she will 6ft or 5’11 nothing wrong, just taller genetics!
With both of her parents being tall, it makes sense that she will be. I think her current height is slightly tall for being 11. It is what it is. There's nothing wrong with it.
Yeah average adult woman lol I’m 16 and 5’10 hopefully still growing pm me if u want to know more haha
Then I'm guessing by the time she's an adult, it'll be at a tall model's height. Last year when she was 10 she was 5'1.
Yes. That's a lot isn't it!!!
I think it's just genetic. My friend claimed to be similar to her height at that age too and she didn't get her period till age 15. A couple other females in that family were also late in their periods. I guess the later a girl's period comes the more time she can grow tall.
i’m 5’11 but i got my period at the age of 12! i grew 2-3 inches every year i stopped growing at that age of 15 sometimes girls stop growing 2 years after there period. most likely she’ll stop growing right away when she gets it. and with all the hormones at her age she most likely will get her period at 13-14 Id do a period quiz test on youtube so you officially know when she stops!
@eunoiygrace what’s that quiz 💀 😂 isn’t 12 young for a yk….
No tell her don't worry it's all good pls make her feel nice everything is gonna be alright
Thank you. Ok what is your question.
Yes it is tall, but nothing to be worried about.
