I let the oral surgen know that I have a syndrome and sometimes my jaw subluxes and it sometimes dislocates. I had oral sugery on June 11th. It was so horrifying to go through. A lot going on. During it, there was a lot of pressure and then at one point I heard a sharp loud snap in my jaw. Plus he kept pressing down on my lower bottom on my mouth? with his hands and while this was happening the back of my head kept going back -like a head banging motion which hurt my neck--I had no idea why. I kept motioning my right hand because there was no way to talk laying backwards while he's doing all of that. It was unreal, and a lot more details, just to much to say.
My jaw was swollen before he did this and had pain on side of my face, in ear hole, and eye bone, after he got the roots and shell of the tooth surgically out. I was crying with tears falling down fast, shaking uncontrollable and colapsed. I also have much more pain to where t3 isn't helping and neither is the tramadol I requested because I said the t3 wasn't touching it. I asked for an anti-inflamatory because am allergic to over the counter ones, I can't lay on that side of my face and am not able to bend forward. The swellinig is worse so is the pain and in the same areas but, it is worse, and there is a knot of swelling where the jaw is -tooth was and by chin going upward to cheek. I cannot open my mouth or close my teeth together or yell, crying hurts. The pain is non stop. I keep using ice to help the pain which does a bit, but, doesn't really help it. I didn;t mention my jaw could be fractured. I am not being heard about any of this except for the tramodol I asked for. How do I get help? Should I be going to an urgent care or ER, because like I said, I have called the dentist office enough times. I don't want to waste anymore time.

this happened on the left side on bottom. the left side of my bottom lip is very painful. So is the left side of my chin. When I bend forward i get all this pressure in my face and the painful areas. I get nasushes and am more tired than ever before this. I cannot sleep hirting like this. I know I misspelled some words. sorry

I text the oral surgen Thursday night, had no call. Friday comes along... I called his number.. talked with a kind woman. 3 hours later no call by him. I called my regular dentist office and talked with a secretary... turned bad. 2 hours later... the same girl... helped me out... I got a pain medication and the anti inflamatory called in... I am pain free and so much swelling was gone from only taking one pill. I'm doing better!
