How do you deal with a person who gets angry like really quickly? If you're one, then how do you control yourself?

This person is really good when talking normally.

But when it comes to a situation where lots of work is to be done, in very less time, then the mood of this guy just changes from a seemingly understanding guy to a completely cold person. This guy returns to normalcy only a few moments later. Does not matter if the work is completed or not. But the arrival and alert of the work is what triggers him.

So how do you deal with such people?

This sounds more like work stress and efficiency than an angry outburst! Getting cold shouldered is WAY less terrifying than getting yelled at.

And if it's when a stressful surprise is encountered? I would treat them kindly and move about my business until it passed.

We all have our stressful moments and it's normal to get upset or annoyed when we are under stress.
I usually leave them alone until they calm down.

Do you have an obsessive fear of failure?

I accept failure. Have the tendency to convince myself that mistakes are OK. And more often than ever, that thought itself has led me to give awesome presentations.

But it seems I just get a bit panicked when an important work needs to be done in unreasonably less amount of time. A sudden rise in fear is there. And it is only after 1 or 2 minutes, that I come back to normalcy.

I have noticed that it is more like a sudden spike in a graph. I just stay silent there and try to work it out mentally. Which is naive of myself, since I need a pen and paper for a fine time management for the work at hand.
But still, it happens to me. I am working on it to be honest.

Do you have some history with not finishing an assigned task on time and receiving some particularly negative consequences?

I don't have such history.

I meant, I frequently submit assignments late, in this semester. But apart from the obvious a bit less marks, nothing is there. And since I have already considered those consequences, I would not consider them negative ones.

But I have had personal negative consequences when I was preparing for engineering exams. The syllabus was just too much to handle in a span of 2 years. The level of the syllabus was that of university, final year.
That affected me deeply in confidence level, but very very few times in panic. That was it.

But since I got a college of my acceptance, I can hardly call it a negative consequence.

I have always worked alone. Guess its time for other people to be invited.

The workload is just too much for me it seems. Because it was high-school and school, I did not feel it. But now, I guess I need to open up from that point of view.

I am getting used to it, controlling it. The more it happens the better for me now.
