Before Scotland, besides countries, many states of the countries are providing these facillities for girls and women! Not sure whether they would be inspire by these move or not, but, in my opinion, they should!
Out of all the things to use tax money for, I think this should be way lower in the priority list. Typically, I'd prioritize things that benefit to more than half the population.
Well you mentioned how the affect would be that men would have to pay taxes for womens menstrual products. I just pointed out that women are already paying for mens viagra…
It should definitely be an example! I can imagine several other European countries doing the same. Possibly even Canada, but it’ll never happen in the USA, tho.
Nothing that requires the resources of others is free.

As long as tax money is not wasted on it, fine. If by "free" they mean bought with tax money, give people who identify as feminist an extra tax and let them pay for it.
@Subarugirl The question had nothing to do with erectile disfunction medication? And I'm not saying no to freemenustral products, just that my tax money should not fund it.
No it has to do with taxes paying for sanitary products. My tax money shouldn't be paying for erectile dysfunction medication. At least sanitary products are a necessity and a public health issue, Viagra isn't..

Free is when the entire nation is paying for your personal items.

I am against paying with my taxes for anything women wear. They should force women to pay for their menstrual crap with their own money.
Tell every woman you meet this is how you feel. See your sex life dwindle.

Men don’t have to spend as much money on tampons.
@crossdressingrihno Well of course, we don't have periods...
They have a rich economy anyways. But of time comes that their economy collapses (specially by making those products free), they won't be free again.
I support free menstrual products for all females.
Yes, they should be free why hand out condoms like candy but not period supplies, can’t control that can ya
They aren't free though--they're just being billed to men and women who don't have cycles as well now via taxes.
Nothing is free, someone is always paying for something either with their labor or taxes.
doubt it. but if true why won't they make shaving blades free as well?
I wish all countries can have them free. It would be better.
Lmao. Imagine getting "free" stuff just because you're a woman. Shit's crazy.
Ignorance is bliss
Sounds bad. Make public bathrooms free and then maybe one free tampon per day per bathroom or something.
The affect is that men now have to pay for women's menstrual products... so much for feminism.
If you’re talking about tax payments. Women also pay for that too.
@FictionalCharacter yes but men don't use the products
And what about my taxes that go towards the 84million dollars the government spends on erectile dysfunction medication? ….
@Subarugirl I don't think that was the topic of conversation here... start up a thread about that, I'll probably agree with you there

Why? And don’t jinx it
Don’t be a moron. There is no such thing as “free”. This is funded via taxpayer money.
Good grief I hope not, I already pay enough taxes.
I'd love for menstrual products to be free because my mom says pads aren't cheap
Great, just what we need, government subsidized hygiene. When do I get my free toilet paper?

them men should be paying extra taxes one the 84million a year the government spends on erectile disfunction medication.
