I've been eating healthy and working out on almost a daily basis but it seems like I'm not slimming down anymore. About a year ago I was about 300lbs, and have never felt worse about myself. I changed my eating habits and I've been lifting and mixing in cardio as well. I've dropped 70lbs but I can't seem to get down to my goal.
hello I lost 35 pounds couple years ago and have kept it off. Crazy you already dropped 70 that's wild. Thats a lot. Biggest thing is diet. Low calories is the way to go,. And then I use cardio for those days I eat a little extra. I eat individually packaged snacks. Small packs of 100 cals or under. I am a HUGE snacker. I have sooo many Walmart buy snack ideas if you want. You're doing everything right. it's just lower calories is the key and consistency with that. And to keep the weight off just making better decisions. Dont complete restrict yourself or else you are going to be miserable and not keep up the habit. Small changes I made, I go to this ice cream store a lot. I have a HUGE sweet tooth. I always get a small frozen yogurt now instead of a big sundae. The frozen yogurt is 200 cals everything else is like 1000+. Ill get a sundae on a good day but like not everyday is a sundae lol

I don't know but maybe you're doctor or primary care provider could refer you to an endocrinologist, sometimes it's a metabolic disorder making weight harder to lose. https://www.endocrine.org/patient-engagement/endocrine-library/obesity#:~:text=Endocrinologists%2C%20who%20are%20specialists%20in,you%20throughout%20your%20weight%20journey.
Eat less... Exercise more... lol What you need to do is recalculate your daily caloric needs based on your new weight and then drop your intake a little below that. Then switch your style of exercise to target different muscle groups. You can become very efficient and conditioned at a particular exercise after a year of repetition. By exercising in a new way using different muscles, your body will be forced to work hard again. So if you were walking and running before and your legs are now skilled jump in a pool and swim lanes with your arms.
It slows down when you're exercising too much. I lift weights and I got stuck at 211lb for 6 months. I stopped lifting and starting doing Muay Thai cause you burn 1000 calories per class. I dropped down to 190 in 3 weeks. You have to mix it up and not do the same thing all the time. Do full body workouts avoid isolation because you work less muscle.

I lost over half of my body weight by eating nothing but salads, drinking water and walking every day. I guess you have to experiment till you find something that works for you.
