Is this a type of infection?

Ok so today when I wiped I had yellow discharge I don't usually have this and was wondering what it is. when I searched online it seems like people are saying its a yeast infection? Is this bad? I Haven't been to the bathroom to see if its still yellow yet and will update if it is. it would be really helpful if sumone helped me out? Thx

if its your first infection and you never had any symptoms before than you need to go to a doctor and get tested. bv and yeast infections show the same sympoms so it can be hard to tell what you really have. the classic signs of a yeast infection are cottage cheese/thick white or yellowish discharge, itching and redness along with cracking of the skin down there. you might even hav a "yeasty/bread odor" bacterial vaginiosis (BV) also causes itching, odor and discharge so that's why its best to get checked rather than confuse which one you have.

Thanks..i went to the bathroom again and didn't see it anymore I've had none of those symptoms except odor but I think that's from something elsee

Yes, you have an infection go to the doctor. It could be bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis (an STD), or a number of other things

Don't fail to see your doctor. Most of these things can be taken care of simply. Letting it go can complicate the problem.
