Same problem. Just tell yourself that's it today you are going to stop that habit. It will take couple of days to get used to eating less, take it one day at a time. Put the food on the plate and no matter what that is what you will eat and you can't snack or eat anything else. Make sure and eat frequently during the day not to be hungry. After the first couple of days you are going to love the feeling and get used to it. I have same thing I eat and eat until I am full, but I work out allot too, and I get so mad because here I am running so much and sweating and I just undo all that work by coming home and eating, even if its healthy food like fruits I'll eat too much of it. Also what helps me is water, drink as much as you can, like before a meal drink a glass or two you'll eat and get fuller so much faster. Its kind of hard to just stop that eating cycle, it took me three days now to get back to eating less and smaller portions, but after that its soo much easier. also flavored drinks really help me, and tea like raspberry tea tastes so good

drink lots of water.
and remember you would be ending up gaining weight if you wouldn't stop eating like that !
think of the negative effects of your habit on you, how you would be looking like if you gained weight :S, what people would think of you, what you would think of yourself either.
and all the effort you are exerting in doing exercise is wasted.
remember how your stomach aches after eating till its full and you couldn't even take a breath!
start off eating vegetables when ever you feel hungry, it will keep you full for more time and you wouldn't feel like you want to eat.
drink coffee, caffeine decreases our appetite and remember to drink 20 cups of water a day it will really help you "makes you want to throw up so you wouldn't be eating at all I guess =)"
sounds like your body is in the pateau stage. this is when your body gets used to the routine and for that reason stops changing or burning additional fat. the easiest thing you could do is not dieting. its actually changing your exercise routine. try a new activity that works out different muscles...by doing so you're body will be in a confusion stage which will have to adjust and continue to burn fat. try doing some homework and search for different types of exercises. PLease change it after a whole month of using the same one.
you might need to look at your exercise routine: I'm no expert but I know you have to remember to give yourself time to recover, and stage your training appropriately so that your successive days don't cause damage rather than good (my wife was exercising badly & actually *lost* muscle tone :/ )
it might pay to get expert advice or at least consult a good, relevant book
good luck

I would say drink a lot of water. I used to drink like 2 gallons a day (no lie) and play DDR for an hour or two a day and I lost tonsss of weight. I also eat pretty healthy. Are you eating healthy foods? Stay away from junk foods and deep fried crap. Every once in awhile it's ok to eat some junk, but if you eat healthy I think you'll look and feel better.
eat a big breakfest, then eat an apple or bannana, so by the time of lunch you are not gonna want to eat alot, so I would go to subway and get a foot long sandwhich with the chips and soda, and if you are not fool get a salad, if you can't finish it save it for later. by dinner I would make myself some soup or something like that.
Here is my tip: carrots or celery. Ewww... right? But it can really help. Whenever you just need something grab carrots or celery (the crunch is a good idea) and just go to town. It can fill up your tummy for very little calories, and help you lose weight. Eventually you will find your self craving less fatty foods and being satisfied by fruits and veggies! And honestly when you're on the computer or watching TV, you barely notice the taste of what is going in your mouth.
Make sure you have have a good eating pattern. Have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Eat lots of protein too. Focus on cardio the most. Good luck! (btw I have the opposite problem, I'm skinny and can't put on any weight)
What kind of foods are you eating? I get like that too if I'm eating a lot of carbs, fried/junk food. You should drink more water, and eat more fiber & protein as well as other healthy stuff. Hope that helps
sleep more
drink more hot liquids
and remeber your the one stuffing food in your mouth so just eat alittle bit of everything and don't eat too many big meals only breakfastStart drinking lots of water, and start eating throughout the day. If you eat 5 or 6small meals throughout the day, you prevent yourself from over eating.
drink a TON of water BEFORE you eat, you will be full and won't eat as much. also try hoodia, it tricks you into feeling like your full
Why are you eating like that? What's the reason? Is it cause you are bored, is it comfort eating? cause you feel down? Try to find out the underlying reason as then you can deal with that, which is the real reason, and learn to control it.
