Swimming? Jump roping? Anything?
Gracias
It really depends on the intensity and duration of your workout. Swimming is a great workout. You workout all parts of your body. Also, your muscles are more relaxed in the water which gives you a big advantage. Whenever I've trained or been in a workout program they always told me to focus on water aerobics first then cardio. Jump roping is good too but unless you can do that for 30+ minutes straight, you want to focus on swimming or running. Also kick boxing can be a better workout than cardio. All depends on your intensity.
swimming!
less stress on your joints, just as great (if not better) of a cardio workout.
For straight cardio it seems that running is the best - interval running will enable you to make larger gains. It gives you a better workout in a shorter length of time. Swimming is a great way to build lung capacity, but I've read up on the subject and comparisons between the two tend to go to running across the board. The most recent one was in either this month or last month's Men's Health magazine, which may be on their website at this point.
Sex. And lots of it.

Running tends to win the calories burned contest. If you have the time walk... Most people can walk miles upon miles but can't manage to run much. Walking distance tends to be the best way for most people to lose weight.
boxing and kicking a punching bag is the only thing I can think of that is more fun then running, personally, I like running.
I run and swim and I can definitely tell you that swimming is much better. You work out more muscles with less impact on your joints.
Swimming is low impact and you tend to burn a lot of calories
Jumping rope and swimming both burn more calories. Swimming does it without impact too.
I'd think swimming since it involves your whole body.
swimming is NOT better than running. it gives you broad shoulders = manly = turn off.
I gave up working out...but thanks?
I personally like broad shoulders, sorta. I have a small-medium frame so I'll never be manly in that aspect
I'm waiting until they get flabby which I believe will take much more than a few weeks & that's not why I asked about eating a salad but I did start eating/drinking veggie smoothies every other day after school to replace the salads. That way I get my veggies!
Swimming and biking are great. :)
Nordic skiing :)
