What is one random tip you have concerning weight loss/healthy eating?

We all know to cut calories, eat less sugar, saturated fats, etc. Is there a random, less obvious rule that you follow concerning healthy eating? (More than one is good too!)

Mine would be to drink 3 glasses of green tea per day. It helps me with digestion, and it's been proven to aid in weight loss. Another tip is to drink a casein protein powder shake before bed or when I can't eat for a while. When you're on a calorie restriction diet the protein is important, and casein is slow-absorbing so it keeps you full longer. What's your tips?
