Your body is dumb. It'll take about half an hour for it to realize you're hungry, which is why I recommend you cut your workouts to about an hour because by the time your body realizes you're burning all these calories you'll be done already. If you go for a long time you'll build up a hunger even though you're not really burning that many more calories.
I assume you're doing cardio. Have you heard of interval training? You can get the same benefit in 20 minutes of intense work. It's better for your heart.
As for eating, bring a protein shake or fruit smoothie with you or have it prepared at home ready to take as soon as you're done working out. Put some olive oil, just a teaspoon, in and you won't really taste it but it'll fill you up. I say a smoothie or shake because it'll digest quickly and, your body being stupid, the sweetness of the fruits or the thickness of the protein will tell your body you're fine on food. If those aren't available, get some blueberries or almonds or a quick snack you can have immediately after working out.
Always remember, you didn't really burn that many calories. 300 calories is like 4 eggs.

You're eating too much at the wrong time. Try eating a couple of hours before the workout. You might still be hungry after..but not so much. And try filling yourself with things like fruit after a workout rather than something like sweets or pizza...
Eat the right things (:. Veggies, fruits, fish, meat, protein etc., also nuts and seeds like sunflower seeds and salads. This is all I eat so yeah unless its a really important event. I also drink healthy balance grape juice and apple juice (you can find it in the grocery stores: bloom/foodlion) also in the tea area I drink "diet gold peak tea" it taste just like sweet tea... no calories or sugar. Soo here is some suggestions that fill me up fast (: You can find the tea in any store including walmart
just focus on the quality of food you are eating, your body needs fuel, don't deprive youself. Eat raw fruits and veggies after working out, or allow yourself to eat as much as you want but only one type of food... like grapes or watermelon or a bowl of plain steamed rice. Calories give you energy so after your meal you will want to work out some more, not sit and veg out in front of the TV or something. Avoid fatty, heavy foods. Coconut water is really good too..

you can eat lots but only of the right types of foods. give yourself a massive plate of fruits and veggies and a bit of complex carbs. eat slowly and take sips of ice water in between bites. you'll realize you get full after less food when you do so.
Eating after a workout is better than eating before a workout because your metabolism is higher after working out. Just don't overdo it.
Go for something high in fiber and protein, and eat it slowly.
Eat plenty before you workout (about an hour beforehand). That way, your body is nourished and your muscles are hydrated.
