Which diet will be most effective?

I'm in good shape fitness wise right now, I have defined abs, arms and calves but I have some stubborn fat on my upper thighs. I know I need to tweak my diet to get rid of it, but not sure which diets will actually work.

1) low glycemic index(gi). I haven't read up on this one much yet but I was just curious as to what other people think

2)the vs models diet. Basically they eat only fruit, vegetables and fish

3) low carb

Which diet would be most effective for losing that last bit of fat? Any other ideas?
