Can you give me some advice on contacting my ex

I haven't spoken to my ex since the end of November, except for one text from each of us on Christmas.

I bought him two concert tickets to go see one of his favorite bands, but I didn't get to give them to him because we broke up.

I'd really like him to have them, and I meant for us to go together, but I'm not sure he would even consider that.

How can I give him the tickets without making him feel weird, pressured, or angry?

It's been a month and a half since we've spoken, so would it be too soon to contact him? If he's willing to meet me, should I give him the tickets? Should I give him just one? Should I mail them with a note and see if he asks me to go with him? I doubt he would swallow his pride and do that. But I'm not sure.

I do really want him to have them, and I don't want them to go to waste. I'm afraid of how I'll feel when he goes with someone else, but not trying at all would make me feel worse I think.

I need some help.

You should give him the ticket because your purpose would be defeated and money would be wasted if you haven't go for your purpose.

To not make him pressured, you should make it look like you're going and he's just tagging along. Here's an example : "Hey, Cac5641, I'm going to the bla bla bla conocert tonight/tomorrow to watch the band. Haven't seen them for a long time, and I heard that this next concert would be a blast. You should come."

I shouldn't mention it being a Christmas gift I bought a long time ago? or should I say that too? like, "I bought tickets to see this band in November", and then what you said?
