Will I get the flu? Can I prevent it until after next Thursday?

Okay so, long story short, I am suppose to provide music for my school's open house next Thursday and have been working very hard to obtain this position. Recently my dad got sick. I was talking to my mom in her room, when my dad came in a and yelled at me because he had laid where I was for a little while. My mom lied and told me he didn't.

Will I get the flu? I'm really worrying about missing this recital. I have worked really hard for it. Is there any way to prevent it? I got my flu shot on Monday.

No knowing if you will or not, only time will tell. I wouldn't worry about it though.

Yeah...'m kinda bummed. They know this means a lot to me and I was joyful when I was told I got the position. Ugh, I just don't want all of my hard work to go to waste. I can only hope.

You won't get the flu. It will only happen if you have prolonged direct contact with your father.

If you got your flu shot then there's nothing to worry about.

You pretty much have to either breathe in a partical in the air they he coughing or sneezing. or touch something that has it on it and touch your face.
