It's mainly genetic but you can try squats and lunges with heavy weight. Basically every exercise that works your bum will help.
There are three major muscle groups in your butt gluteus maximus,gluteus medius muscle and gluteus minimus muscle. There is also one called tensor fasciae latae that kinda affects your butt. Make sure to work out all of those groups. If you're aiming for size heavy weights are the way to go
Other exercises would be hip abduction, pelvic thurst(with weight), stepping on a bench and the stairmaster. With resistance bands you can quite a bit more but I don't know the name of those exercises

Squats, add on more weight when you progress.
Donkey kicks (preferably with ankle/leg weights)
Lunges
Wall sit for a 45 seconds to a minute.
Lay on your back like you're going to do a sit up. Instead of lifting your upper body, push your butt up in the air so your knees to your shoulders make a straight line. Repeat.

MINIMUS - Squats, donkey kicks, wall sitsbesides what everyone else says running or jogging with help too.
