Does sleeping really really late make you gain weight?

Hi,

About 1.5 years ago I did lose weight and have become more 'smaller' in away; just recently = I was fasting for Pascha I felt like I did lose more weight during that period of time. Then this month especially from Iast week I feel like I have gained weight... Honestly, I don't really eat at all maybe like 2 meals a day if I'm lucky, I do excercise when I have the time. With all my eating habits I have pretty much kept it the same and maybe less for a long time now. However, my problem is I sleep very late like 6am - 8am sometimes. Most people say that the more you stay up the more you eat. I really don't do that...I some times get around 5 hours sleep and occassionally will sleep for 6-7 hours if I sleep in till the afternoon. I started doing this for a few months now. The only reason I stay up is my fiance moved back to Egypt and the time difference is really bad so I got to stay up in order to communicate with him and partly because I can't even sleep early anymore. Anyways, after questioning where did my weight gain come from I'm starting to wonder if its due to my sleeping habits or maybe just the stress my exams are giving me. I don't know.

So, my question is does sleeping late really make you gain? and if it is, does getting back to normal sleeping times solve this random weight gain?
