Noticing wrinkles at 20?

So I'm turning 20 soon...as a result I took a really good look at my face. I noticed fine lines under my eyes that I hadn't noticed even 8 months ago. They're not hugely noticeable though. Anyone near my age group...are you seeing these lines under your own eyes too? Did you have them for years (as in genetic) or are they really early signs of aging? I realize everyone gets lines eventually, and I'm not gonna stress too much about it. I'm just wondering if this is normal for 20 or am I environmentally exposed to something that's making me get them quicker? I've been using daily SPF moisturizer the last few months in order to prevent from forming new ones.

Could be a ton of things, smoking, vitamin C deficiency, vitamin E deficiency, the facial expression squinting cause of sunlight, or to see better, too much sun is aging you, you tan at salons or in natural sun.

Make up maybe, the foods you're eating.

You can can kiwis on your face and it will help. I'm almost 21 and I have them when I look closely into the mirror, if it's like mine you can't see it unless you look specifically for it and get close in the mirror, others can't see it.

I heard that the skin around the eyes is one of the most susceptible parts vulnerable to aging.

Also, you may be confusing '' Character lines.'' with wrinkles. Character lines happen when a facial expression is repeated too much and it actually causes a crease or a line.

Creams, vitamin E C can help both. I have a character line on my top right forehead from the eyebrow raise thing, and I used E and C and you can't notice it unless I look closely in the mirror.

I quit smoking a few months ago. I've probably intentionally tanned like 15 times total in my life lol. I'm just hoping their character lines

Do you find yourself squinting a lot? Or deep smiles?

Also drinking a lot of water, at least 8 a day will increase blood flow, and along with Vitamin C and E, plus 8 glasses the water will help carry those vitamins and improve your skin.

I have a whole feather of wrinkles emanating from the corner of my eyes and I've had em for years. Serves me right for smiling too much. I wouldn't worry about a few lines.

I'm 20 and I didn't notice any. However wrinkles you get from smiling or laughing are kinda normal. It depends on your genetics and obviously how much you laugh. They are early signs of aging, but not necessarily in a bad way

What speeds up skin aging is smoking, drinking, tanning and high sodium foods. If you do any of those it may be related to it

i quit smoking two months ago (yay!), I never really was a tanner, and I don't drink. But I'm guilty of a high sodium diet

well since your just turning 20, you probably didn't smoke longer than a few years, so it shouldn't have a too serious effect on your skin, but smoking is pretty much the worst thing you can do to your body, including skin especially if combined with sodium, because it makes your body hold on to toxins longer. So you may want to consider cutting that out. Even small changes can go a long way, like get real salt not sodium chloride and pay some attention to the processed food you eat

in the last few weeks I've changed my snack foods to yogurt and salad with light italian dressing (still has sodium but I'd think it's more healthy than ranch?) and I eat lots of fruit

italin would be more healthy because it contains less fat, not so sure about the sodium, you'd have to check the labels. It varys greatly by brand too. Generally though if you eat little to no processed food sodium is not something you have to worry about

It's fine if you have one or two l slices every other day, but don't add extra salt or salty sauces. If you look at the ingridigents, it's usually meat, water, salt and sometimes starch or sugar. And meat naturally contains a good bit of salt too

I have wrinkles too but they are more from my dad's genes. He had crows feet really bad when ever he smile and I see the fact that I'll have them too as a simple by product of living-because I can't change my genes.

keep the area moisturised and avoid any products that contain alcohol denat. or ethanol.
