Share, feel free to link your pics with acne. I am an acne sufferer myself, even though I get hit on and told that I'm pretty (I don't agree though) Make my day, share your story and how your acne has improved, what helped?

At your age I had such bad eczema that acne wasn't even a problem; It was non-existent. So when I figured out how to clear up my eczema, I was more or less thrilled my skin was healthy enough to even have acne. At this point, I still get the occasional pimple, but it's no big deal.

I wouldn't call myself hot, though. I've always been too heavy to be "hot". I suppose I'm reasonably attractive though, I think, ( link - Though you can be the judge of that.) also I've been losing quite a bit of weight in the last 7 months, so who knows, maybe hot is attainable sometime. We'll see. Anyway, yeah, bad skin can really hurt a person's looks. Still, for whatever it's worth, I'm not likely to reject a person just for a little acne. Looks aren't everything, after all.

Congratulations on the weight lost (: I know how hard it is to lose weight. I feel like I've never had problems getting guys but I never feel worthy of being loved because of my acne :(

I got past a lot of my issues with my looks. I never had problems getting girls, even with my weight, and my eczema. Still, I had problems liking how I look. I still have some issues. I only "like" myself physically, but I can't say I "love" myself. As a person, though, I had bigger issues. I had trouble liking myself as a person, as well.

I'm not sure what your problems are with self esteem, but I can tell you this: you need to get over it. If it's really just about your looks, then what you're feeling is utterly preposterous. You're perfectly worthy. Your looks are NOT what you are. They don't make you who you are. They don't know, they never have, and they never will. It's even more preposterous, considering how you've never had problems getting a date. So clearly something is attracting those guys.

Yes my issues have to do with how I look mostly my skin. Like I used to see a counselor and she told me that sometimes we don't see what others see. But sometimes its so hard to stop feeling like this

Just be yourself, and be good to the people dating you (assuming they're good to you, too, and if not, just leave) and if you can do that, then you're plenty worthy.

I feel like the insecurity stops me from being my bubbly self with people I don't know. I haven't dated at all because I reject the guys thinking they might be playing jokes on me- trust issues of mine

I don't know like it probably traumatized me because I was so used to having perfect skin that it impacted my life drastically especially mentally

Believe me when I tell you that not that many guys are so cruel as to do something like that.

Umm tbh I am the type of girl who doesn't ask guys out, theu have to be the ones. But now I know that I should be a bit les judgier with guys

One day it just occurred to me that zitty girls can be beautiful too. These two really beautiful girls I made friends with showed me that. I realized that if either of them wanted to go out on a date with me, I'd be totally lucky to do so. It helped that they were kind sweet girls. And smart too. So while it's fine to try to maximize your beauty with oatmeal and whatever, remember that the content of your character does in fact count for something.

My acne was really bad when I was in grade 10. I was very very insecure about it. Its always on my chin and nose and the middle of my forehead. I got called pepperoni face and they'd wanna play "connect the dots" People suck XD but I just started drinking extra water and started eating better. I also quit my fast food job and got retail. That made a HUGE difference! My acne is barely noticeable anymore! I also really liked doing home remedies. They work so much better then the stuff you buy at the drug store because they have so many chemicals. If you are going to get one thing get the apricot scrub from St eves I'm sorry if I spelt that wrong lol but that stuff is just amazinnnnng I use it every second night! Hope that helped! :)

so one that I use is eggwhites and cotton balls. So what you do is separate the eggwhites and with a cotton ball your making like a peel off mask that you put on your nose. Its amazing for getting rid of blackheads. Also avocado is amaingfor your skin I use it with honey and I put it on my face it works really well, and before bed once a week I use baking soda. It cleans your pores but be gental cause it works really well and you don't wanna leave it longer then 30 seconds. I promise results.

how many times do you do the egg mask. Wait isn't avocado bad for oily skin? Have you ever used Retin-A or ethromycin benzoyl perioxide?

I'd be more attractive, yeah. I had it really bad all through high school. It didn't matter how much I washed my face or what product I used.

Today my face still isn't clear. It's better. From far away and in pictures you can't really see, but I have acne scars on my cheeks. I'm looking into scar treatments but they're so expensive so I'll just have to make up for it with a killer personality I guess.

i was lucky in the fact that I did not get acne as a teenager. I am unlucky in that I am getting it now, at the age of 32. my skin is always oily and covered with blackheads. and my chin is dotted with zits. I'm searching for a decent anti-acne face cleanser. but there are just so darn many to choose from. I don't think I'm pretty without acne.

aww that sucks. My mom suffered with acne until entering her 40s. Retin-A helps a lot! Consider it and google it. Its 2 in one: good for acne and wrinkles too (:

What that's horrible! I know how you feel, the thing is that mines never bled. Are you like trying to pop them? Oatmeal mask works wonders, very gentle and gets rid of redness, scarring

I used to a bunch because I was so sick of them and of course it gave me a ton of acne scars but they probably would have been there anyway
